The guest experience begins with a 13-minute orientation video at the Visitor Center. There are also exhibits to explore at the Visitor Center. The Visitor Center is free to the public.

To visit the Historic 19th Century Village guests may walk or drive 2 blocks to begin their visit to the historic site at the Feast Hall on Church Street.  You must purchase your admission tickets at the Museum Store in the Feast Hall building. Friends of Old Economy Village members and Ambridge Resident Pass holders must present their card at the Feast Hall. A portion of the site is guided by a docent. There are typically two different half hour guided tours unless a special event is taking place. One guided tour features the Rapp Houses, and the other shows the buildings on the Cobblestone Street. All else is self-guided. Visitors should allow approximately 2 hours to see everything.
