Designed specifically for homeschool students and families, these hands-on programs offer engaging, educational experiences rooted in 19th-century life. Whether exploring historic trades like weaving and printing, learning about gardening, or playing old-fashioned games, students will gain a deeper understanding of the past through interactive, immersive activities.

Experience the Art of Traditional Printing
Specially designed for Homeschool students ages 12–17
Step back in time and get hands-on in Our Print Shop, an authentic letterpress print shop where printing is done much as it was when the printing press was first invented.​Our collection of working presses—dating from the early 1800s to the mid-1900s—offers a rare opportunity to engage directly with the history of print.

In this dynamic and immersive workshop designed for youth ages 12 to 17, participants will learn the basics of typesetting and letterpress printing using our antique type, tools, and presses. Whether you're a creative teen or a history enthusiast, you'll gain a unique appreciation for this timeless craft.
