
Site Rental Coordinator
(Part-time, Independent Contractor)

Then here’s a great opportunity for you to perform services as a Site Rental Coordinator for Old Economy Village, a not-for-profit, community organization, located in Beaver County.

Who We Are
Old Economy Village (OEV) (located 18 miles northwest of Pittsburgh in Ambridge) is a National Historic Landmark that preserves the legacy of the Harmony Society, one of the most successful religious communal groups of the 19th century. Our site is home to 17 historic buildings set amidst beautiful gardens where visitors can explore the village's buildings, grounds, library, archives and artifacts, which offer insight into religious practices, cultural life and economic achievements of this unique, utopian community. What You'll be Doing
-
Conduct site tours and process administrative details pertaining to site rentals. Some weekend work required.

Track events and coordinate details with other OEV team members and State of PA employees.

Learn and follow State guidelines and office protocols.

Your Background:
Strong customer service and written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills in MS Word and Excel and ability to learn new software programs. Experience in working as part of a team and coordinating with various parties. Essential physical requirements include walking on uneven surfaces and in inclement weather. Prior experience in a not-for-profit environment a plus.

Job Description
Purpose:
The Site-Rentals Coordinator is responsible for managing the inquiry, application and contract details for customers who wish to rent the site. The Coordinator will also be responsible for informing the OEV grounds staff of event location and times as well working with the State Volunteer coordinator to secure and train volunteers who will be at the events as a point person
Key Responsibilities:

Respond to all inquiries within 72 hours of the inquiry.

Proficient in MS Word and Excel and willing to learn additional software to proficiency level.

Become familiar with office processes and professional email protocols.

Conduct site tours for customers who have completed the required inquiry processes.

Manage the contract/payment process from application to completion in conjunction with the Site Administrator.

Track events on the shared Events Calendar.

Working with the State Employee who supervises volunteers, arrange appropriate event staffing and assign a site contact.

Consult with OEV supervisors and staff to ensure grounds readiness for events and follow the State guidelines for building use and site-rental clean up.
Qualifications:

Customer service experience. Prior experience in a not-for-profit environment a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in working as part of a team and coordinating with customers, volunteers, & state employees.

Essential physical requirements include walking on uneven surfaces in inclement weather.

Occasional weekend work may be required.
